How long will it take to UPLOAD my images?

Upload speeds and times can vary from user to user, and from job to job! :)

Unsure of your internet upload speed? You can test it out by CLICKING HERE!  When you run the test, be sure that you are not currently uploading any data, in order to get an accurate report.

We have found a few tricks that can help speed up your upload:

1. Upload with a hardline(ethernet cable) connection, rather than a wifi connection. This is a more consistent and reliable connection, so your upload is not interrupted or stopped.
2. Start your upload at night and turn your computer's sleep settings off. Less bandwidth is being used once everyone is asleep! :)
3.  The Smart Previews are approximately 30 times smaller than a RAW image file, which speeds up the upload considerably!  To learn more about creating smart previews, you can follow up Individual catalog workflow and we will go over creating them in the video.
