Some emails sent by ShootDotEdit are automated emails, and certain inboxes can filter these emails into a Spam, Junk, or similar folder, meaning you might miss an important message! Here are a few ways to ensure that all ShootDotEdit emails arrive in your inbox.
1. Create a filter from an existing email
Locate an email from ShootDotEdit that has gone into Spam/Junk/other box, then click on the arrow in the upper right. Select "Filter messages like this"
A window will pop up, allowing you to add specifics to the type of email you want to treat. It will automatically fill in the email address for you.
The next window will allow you to set your rules for treating emails of this type. Be sure to select "Never send it to Spam"
2. Create a filter from scratch
In the upper right corner, click on the gear symbol and select "Settings"
Select "Filters and Blocked Addresses" and scroll to the bottom to create a new filter
A new window will pop up, where you can enter in any rules for emails you want to filter.
The next window will give you options for how to treat these emails. Be sure to select "Never send it to Spam"
