Can I create event categories with Extra?

Yes, and we've made it easy for you! Navigate to the Gallery Controls page. In the bottom left corner, underneath the Categories column, you'll see a "+ Create new". This will allow you to create a New Gallery Category. Want to put them in a different order than how they appear? Simply drag and drop them so they are in the order you prefer!
